The Funny Womacks & Friends
Dawn took comedy classes in DC in 2016 to face her fears of doing stand up and got hired out of her graduation showcase. She brings witty charm and a “we are family” vibe to the stage, blending lighthearted stories and observational humor. She’s performed from east to west coast from theaters to inside caves. She runs and performs in the weekly shows at the new Comedy Club at Massanutten Resort and founded the annual Cave Comedy Fest at Melrose Caverns. Other credits include Don’t Tell Comedy, Roanoke Comedy Fest, and headliner at the inaugural Battlers Knob Comedy Festival. He performs solo and as a duo act with his wife, Dawn.
Chris is a James Madison University Kinesiology Professor. Chris exposes a witty comedic style paired with a dry sarcastic sense of observational humor. He has performed in a wide variety of venues in the Shenandoah Valley, around the DMV & beyond on several FWAF Shows (formerly X2 Comedy) since 2021. He helps run and performs in the weekly shows at the new Comedy Club at Massanutten Resort and also performs in the annual Cave Comedy Fest. Other credits include Don't Tell Comedy, Comic Genius Show Comedy Competition winner and Roanoke Comedy Fest. He performs solo and as a duo act with his wife, Dawn.

Since 2018, FWAF (formerly X2 Comedy) has been consistently delivering highly popular and hilarious clean-ish comedy that bring all walks of life together on and off stage fostering connection through joy & laughter.
